Are you dog-friendly?
Your furry friends are still allowed on the beer garden deck on a leash.
Where is best to park?
We have a private carpark located conveniently on-site or alternatively; we have beachside parking in the outdoor carpark.
How do I get to your venue from the mainland?
North Stradbroke Island is easily accessible via the Sealink North Stradbroke Island ferry service, which offers both passenger and vehicle transport. You can find the ferry timetable and additional information here. Alternatively, you can take the Stradbroke Flyer passenger ferry, details of which can be found here. Both Dunwich terminals are conveniently connected to TransLink buses that will drop you directly opposite our establishment, ensuring a seamless journey to The Beach Hotel Stradbroke Island. The journey from Dunwich to The Beach Hotel Stradbroke Island is typically a 35-minute bus ride.
How close is The Beach Hotel from Cylinder Beach?
We are right above it! You can easily access the beach through our beachside carpark, with stairs leading straight to the sand.
Do you have Wheelchair access?
Absolutely! We have an elevator located in the lobby/carpark, providing easy access to our bistro and bar. Additionally, there is a ramp accessible via our beachside carpark. Our hotel also offers a wheelchair-accessible room, featuring wider spaces and a wheelchair-accessible shower to ensure a comfortable stay.
What are the hotel facilities?
Our hotel offers a refreshing onsite pool exclusively for in-house guests, along with a vibrant bar, a welcoming bistro, a drive-thru Cellarbrations Bottle shop and exciting gaming facilities featuring Keno, TAB, and pokies.

What is your dress code?
You can rock up straight from the beach! But we do ask you to have a shirt, dress or bottoms, and shoes on (dogs on the deck only refers to our furry friends)
Do I need to make a table reservation or do you accept walk-ins?
At this stage we are accepting walk-ins only. We will have our booking system up and running soon.

Can I be guaranteed a specific table?
We cannot guarantee specific tables however if you have a specific table in mind, please call us on +61 7 3409 8188 and we will do our best to accommodate.
What is your dining cancellation policy?
We ask that any cancellation to your dining reservation be made no less than 12 hours prior. For no shows or late cancellations, you will be subject to fee of $25 per person that will be applied to the credit card on file. For online dining reservations please cancel via the original booking confirmation email.
Do you take group bookings?
Group bookings are welcome. Please contact us directly for reservations of 20 or more guests. We also offer the option of a specially curated menu featuring a variety of mains, salads, and burgers for groups of 15 or more.
What is your policy on children/under 18’s in venue?
Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian old enough to be the guardian.
Do we have a kids’ menu and allocated play area?
We have an allocation section on our menu for kids and some colouring in on request! If you are needing a highchair, please call us on +61 7 3409 8188 for us to arrange this with your booking.
Do you cater for gluten free and other dietary restrictions?
We sure do! However, there maybe cross-contamination.
Please advise our staff of your needs so we can do our best to meet your needs.
Do you cater for vegans?
We have a couple of vegan dishes and some more on the menu that can be easily altered to suit our vegan friends.
Check out our dietary callouts on the menu or ask our friendly staff if you’re unsure.
Is your menu halal certified?
The meat & seafood supplied follows Halal practices (except for pork). The bistro itself is not Halal certified.
Do you allow BYO?
 As a fully licensed venue, we do not allow BYO. However, you may like to visit our drive-thru hotel bottle shop located beneath the hotel.
Can we bring a celebratory cake and decorations?
Definitely! A cakeage fee may apply. Please contact us on +61 7 3409 8188 to discuss arrangements.
Do you have a courtesy bus?
We sure do! To book a trip, please call us on +61 7 3409 8188. We only drive locally.
